Rebel Princess Returns

I’ve been getting inquiries about when Rebel Princess was going to be for sale again, and they’ve been successful in providing motivation for me to get the darned editing done. (Moral of the story: Harassing me by email works. ;) Just kidding, you’re all very lovely and I enjoy getting your emails.)

Et voila! For your reading pleasure…

A Trouble Books classic returns, digitally remastered and whatnot.

Iskendar is a harsh land, especially for rebellious young women who refuse to quietly accept their place in the world. When rough urchin Kai and cosseted Priestess-to-be Lucy meet in the midst of their own personal rebellions, worlds collide.

Is their passionate attraction and the firm hand of the powerful noblewoman Rael enough to subdue them to the useful and the good? Or will their rebellion eventually tear them, and Iskendar, apart?

A Teaser…

“You’ll never catch me now,” Lucy taunted, laughing as she scampered about the large sand training arena. “Motherhood has made you slow and weak!” Her curls flew about her head, glowing in the sun, her curved rump displayed in tight, short breeches.

“Don’t bet on it, brat,” Rael replied calmly, watching Lucy run hither and thither, smiling slightly as she saw how Lucy began to pant and gasp under the hot midday sun.  Rael stood like a predatory statue,  immovable and deceptively still as she awaited her prey. Read the rest of this entry »

Rebel Princess Christmas Bonus! Merry Spankings!

Those of you who enjoy the Rebel Princess series will be happy to know that chapters 6, 7 and 8 have been restored to Trouble Books after a brief hiatus, and chapter 9 has just been added. This means that those new to Trouble Books and the Rebel Princess series have four new chapters to enjoy over the holidays!

“What? No Lucy, he has people everywhere, we…” Kai was cut off as Lucy lightly vaulted off the top of the overhanging door and landed lightly, crouched among the crowd. She could see Jach clearly, he was taller than most of the people of the mountain town, and she wasted no time making a beeline directly for him.

“You there, Mr Shiny Pants,” Lucy hailed him.

Jach’s head swept around and Lucy felt the ice of his death stare upon her.

“Are you looking for a lost assassin? Female? About yea high?” Lucy made a motion with her hand.

Jach cocked his head in curiosity at this strange woman who had accosted him in the middle of the street and begun babbling his secrets to the world.

“I know. I know all about you. She was bloody awful, isn’t she?” Lucy lamented. “That’s why I had to kill her.”

“You, killed Kai?” Jach asked curiously.

Rebel Princess Update

Just a quick note regarding Rebel Princess. I’ve had a few requests for the full manuscript, which means that I haven’t been entirely clear as to what’s going on with that particular tale. (What’s new, huh.) What I have are the last few unedited chapters available for people who read the series up until the point I stopped posting it on here. What I don’t have is an edited, polished, final novel as yet. Part of the joy of writing a serial novel is realizing that you’ve written in inconsistencies and little bits and pieces here and there that don’t quite make sense. Those need to be corrected before Rebel Princess is ready to take her throne, so to speak.

When I have the final version, I’ll make it available here as a download, so you won’t need to request it. I was initially going to make it a paid download when it was finished, (wildly unpopular decision, that one :) but I’ve decided to make it a free ebook download, and if anyone loves it enough to want to own it, then they’ll be able to buy a print version.

Anyway, that’s what’s happening, so thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the other stories and series which are going on about the place here.
